The goods shed is still standing at Gosberton and I was given permission to do a survey in order to make the model which features a steam-era shunting horse from the time when locomotives were not allowed in the goods shed for fear of contaminating food produce. When I visited the site, the crossing keeper's box was still in use and his labrador dog was lying patiently outside, a must to include in my model.
